Hollis is a mother, photographer, doula, and dancer. After the birth of her own daughters, Hollis started chronicling their development through photos by capturing real life moments. But it was not until a chance meeting at a friend’s baby shower that her passion was sparked. It was at this time that Hollis was introduced to the concept of “alternative” birth. Was there really another way? The answer, of course, was an emphatic YES! This fortuitous meeting opened her eyes to the world of midwifery, homebirth, and breastfeeding support. Hollis studied to become a doula and began photographing women during pregnancy, birth and motherhood. She uses her camera as her voice to change public perception of pregnancy, birth and parenthood. In addition Hollis is a lifelong dancer and has been teaching dance for 19 years. Hollis recently became a certified Dancing for Birth instructor and is thrilled to combine her passion for birth with her love of dance. Hollis hopes that through her work women will be empowered and people will see the power and beauty that is motherhood.
In 2007, when Holly became pregnant with her first child she began teaching prenatal yoga classes that impart not only the wisdom of poses for the childbearing year, but also knowledge of the spiritual and emotional process of becoming a parent. She continues to develop her support of mother, child & family connections through the opening of Om Baby Pregnancy & Parenting Center in 2008.
In her life outside Om Baby, Holly is employed full-time as a Licensed Social Worker and spends time with her sweet, precious little boy.

Rachael McCormackHi, Mamas! I’m Rachael McCormack, your local Body Back Pro and Stroller Strides Lancaster West instructor! As far back as I can remember, I have always loved being active. Throughout my youth, I participated in gymnastics, softball, volleyball, cheerleading, and skiing. I studied athletic training and nutrition at Indiana University of PA and received my national certification from NATA-BOC in 2006. While in college, I played rugby for 2 years until injury forced me to stop playing. I then put my efforts towards running and training for my first triathlon.
After IUP, I went on to study Sports Management & Coaching at Millersville University, where I met my husband, Andy (also referred to as “Mac”). We were married in June 2010 and brought our bundle of joy, Brayden, into the world on June 12, 2011. While pregnant, I wanted to keep my fitness level up and during my research, I came across Stroller Strides. After looking into what Stroller Strides was all about, I realized that this program was something that I wanted to not only participate in myself, but also help other mom’s out there establish a base of fitness for themselves and to show our children early on that caring for our bodies is an important part of living a healthy life. This is a program that essentially will instill wonderful values in our children, all while helping mom’s get their strength to help them through motherhood!!
After obtaining my Stroller Strides Instructor certification, I decided to become even more involved in “Strength For Motherhood”… So here I am today… Body Back Certified to help mom’s of ANY age gain and maintain their strength for motherhood!Julie Polito is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Extended Function Dental Auxiliary. She was the recipient of the Colgate Oral Health Advisor Student Total Achievement Recognition Award in 2011. Julie practices in a family dental office and volunteers for community health dental functions. She is the co-chairperson for Sealant Saturday, an event that provides free dental care for uninsured and underinsured children. Julie is a passionate advocate for disease prevention, especially with children’s dental health. One of her primary goals is to educate parents and caregivers with dental health facts that are not commonly known in order to avoid oral health disease.
