Introducing Your Dog to Your New Baby

The secret to a smooth introduction and peaceful co-existence is preparation. This workshop will provide tips about what to teach your dog before baby's arrival, how to introduce your dog to the new paraphernalia that will take over your home, how to prepare your dog for upcoming changes in routine and household activity, and how to do the first introduction to your new baby.

- the dominance myth, and how your dog really sees baby
- evaluating your own dog
- how to interpret a dog's subtle body language
- ways to include your dog in daily routines
- what to do when your dog behaves inappropriately
